Storms are Inevitable. Anchors are Immovable.
Storms are Inevitable. Anchors are Immovable.
Hi, I'm Angeline Augusta and I am super excited to share the journey of Lighthouse and Anchor with you. This is a ministry that centers around prayer and encouragement. The two essential components to me being able to start this ministry and it is the catalyst for which I am able to share.
God is O, O, O, so good and so amazing! He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent and it doesn't get any more amazing and wonderful than that. I will endeavor to share with you how amazing God has been and all of the storms that He has brought me through. The death of my oldest son, narcissism and narcissistic abuse, divorce, being a single parent of an adult child with autism, being ousted by the church, friends and even some family and so much more...God has been and is faithful and He is the reason for my hope.
I'm a retired educator with over thirty years in the educational arena. I've taught fifth and sixth grade and worked as a Reading Interventionist, Reading Coach, Instructional Coach, and Reading Specialist in Alabama and Texas.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's in Elementary Education, certification in administration and supervision, and an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. A host of other certifications and educational training. However, since retiring, the LORD spoke to me, saying that He made me a teacher. This was ironic since He afforded me the opportunity to teach as a career. This is definitely different. Now, I am a God-made teacher, a teacher of the Word of God...I consider it an honor and a privilege to be given this assignment and to be able to share this journey with you. I'm excited about what God is doing and I am so glad to have you along with me.
I'm so thankful that the LORD allowed me to be a mother. It is because of these two young men, that I've grown and continue to grow in my walk with my LORD and Savior. Anthony Imand is in Heaven with Jesus now. His life taught me so much about true love, forgiveness, evil and wickedness in the world. Adaiah James has a diagnosis of autism, and his life continues to teach me about joy and patience.
